Become a Member of Diving SA
Becoming a member is the first step towards participating in Diving SA programs and joining our vibrant diving community. Whether you're trying diving for the first time, looking to train recreationally, or pursuing a competitive pathway, we look forward to welcoming you to the pool!
Membership
The Diving SA membership year runs from 1 July to 30 June each year. Membership is required for all participants involved in Diving SA programs and activities, including:
- Divers
- Coaches
- Volunteers
- Employees
Your Diving SA membership includes registration with Diving Australia through the national capitation fee, providing members with limited Professional Indemnity and Personal Accident insurance coverage.
Please note that annual membership fees are for the full membership year and are non-refundable, either in part or in full, should participation cease after 1 July.

Additional Costs
Please be aware that your Diving SA membership covers registration and insurance only. The following costs are separate from your annual membership:
Coaching Fees
Learn 2 Dive and Casual Adult Divers

Term coaching fees are automatically generated when you book into classes through our Training Sessions portal.
Squad Divers and Permanent Adult Divers

Coaching fees are invoiced monthly through our billing platform, Xero.
Pool Entry
Pool entry fees are managed by the SA Aquatic & Leisure Centre and are separate from Diving SA membership and coaching fees. We recommend speaking with the SA Aquatic & Leisure Centre front desk to determine which option best suits your training schedule.
Important Information
If you believe you have already registered for the current membership year but:
- haven't received any membership confirmation details,
- entered an incorrect email address during registration, or
- cannot locate your invoice for payment,
Please contact the Diving SA office for assistance. Please do not submit multiple membership registrations, as this can create duplicate accounts and delay the registration process.
Payment
Payment is required at the time of membership registration. You will be directed to a secure payment portal upon completing the registration process.
