If your availability changes from week to week, that's no problem. Sessions can be booked online right up until the scheduled start time, subject to availability.

Casual Class Fees

Class Type

Cost

1-Hour Class (Wednesday)

$23 per session

2-Hour Classes (Tuesday, Friday & Sunday)

$40 per session

For casual participants, an invoice is generated for each session booked. For example, if you attend both Tuesday and Friday sessions, separate invoices will be issued for each booking.

Permanent Bookings

For participants seeking a more consistent training schedule, permanent bookings are available.

Permanent participants are enrolled in each of our 2-hour sessions on:

  • Tuesday

  • Friday

  • Sunday

Permanent bookings follow the Diving SA annual training calendar and include scheduled holiday breaks throughout the year.

To enquire about permanent bookings, please contact: admin@divingsa.com.au

Permanent Booking Fees

Coaching fees are invoiced monthly through our billing system.

The annual coaching fee covers 46 weeks of training and is spread across 52 weeks for payment purposes, helping to make costs more manageable throughout the year.

Permanent participants also have access to training during designated holiday training periods that are not available to casual participants.

Fees & Costs

There are three costs to consider when participating in diving:

  1. Annual Membership Fee

  2. Coaching Fees (Casual or Permanent)

  3. Pool Entry Fees

1. Annual Membership Fee

The Diving SA membership year runs from 1 July to 30 June each year.

Membership is mandatory for all participants involved in Diving SA activities, including divers, coaches, volunteers, and staff. Membership includes registration with Diving Australia and provides access to insurance coverage, including limited Professional Indemnity and Personal Accident insurance.

First Time Diver Membership

New participants may register under the First Time Diver Membership, which provides membership coverage for one term.

First Time Diver Membership: $63.75

Should you wish to continue diving after your initial term, you will then transition to the appropriate annual membership category. You can view our membership fees here.

2. Coaching Fees

Diving is a skill-based sport that relies heavily on repetition and the development of muscle memory. As a result, participants who attend more regularly often progress more quickly.

Many adult divers begin with one session per week and increase their attendance as they become more comfortable and confident.

Missed Lessons

Please note that Diving SA does not provide make-up lessons for missed sessions.

Refunds or credits may be considered in cases of illness or injury where a medical certificate is provided. Should Diving SA cancel a lesson due to unforeseen circumstances, a make-up lesson may be offered where possible.

3. Pool Entry Fees

Pool entry fees are charged separately by the SA Aquatic & Leisure Centre (SAALC) and are not included in Diving SA coaching fees.

Several payment options are available through SAALC, including:

  • SAALC Memberships

  • Multi-Entry Passes

  • Casual Entry Rates

For current pricing and further information, please visit the SA Aquatic & Leisure Centre website.
