Diver/member Covid information

7th January 2022

Due to the continually changing Covid situation Diving SA have compiled a Covid plan for the upcoming holiday programs and Term 1. A brief outline is as follows:

  • If you or anyone attending the facility is notified they are a close contact and are required to either take a PCR test or to self isolate/quarantine, please notify us as the earliest opportunity. Do not attend the venue.

  • Please notify us of the dates you are considered a close contact from (and) if you have been to the facility since that time.

  • Follow all SA Health or Government directives with regard to your testing, results and isolation.

Any Diving SA lessons or trainings that are impacted by a coach being diagnosed with Covid, requiring a Covid test, or needing to isolate or quarantine will be cancelled.

We will not seek to find a coach to fill in.

This will apply to all Learn To Dive, Squad 1, 2, 3 and Advanced Beginners sessions.

Divers will be notified of the cancellation via email.

A credit will be issued for lessons/training sessions where the coach is unable to attend due to Covid reasons.

Lessons/training will not resume until the coach is able to safely return to work (ie after a negative test, completing isolation period). We realise this could mean more than one week of lessons/ training missed but we hope you can appreciate these are difficult times and we are trying to keep things as simple as possible in terms of how we manage things in this constantly changing environment.

All lessons/training sessions cancelled due to coach being a close contact or having Covid and requiring Covid testing/isolation will be credited.

We ask members to check their email on the day of their lesson/session to ensure they receive the most up to date information on their lessons/sessions. This could be up to half an hour before the lesson is due to start. After this time, we will try to phone those due to attend or meet them when they arrive to inform them of the cancellation.

Please do not attend the facility if you or your family are unwell in any way. If you have Covid symptoms, please get tested.

We thank you for your support and understanding during this time and hope you and your families remain safe and well.

SA Aquatic and Leisure Centre operates under a Covid Management Plan as per State Government directions.

Please do not attend this venue for 14 days if you are a close contact, as per State Government Direction.

Please do not attend the venue if you are unwell or have symptoms of Covid.
