
DIVING COACH SOUTH AUSTRALIA– part time approx 20 - 25 hours per week
Diving South Australia (DSA) is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, highly committed Coach to work alongside our Head Coach to develop the performance of the Club’s Divers and to help them reach their maximum diving potential. DSA is based in Adelaide South Australia, has a long and proud history of high achievement at club, Interstate and National levels.DSA currently has more than 140 registered Divers, and will be shortly relocating to a new $100 million world class facility at the State Aquatic Centre located at Marion.
The successful applicant will need to be able to:
1. Develop and Implement training programs at all levels
2. Work as a member of a team and be able to communicate effectively with club members, divers and parents.
3. Deliver diving lessons including dryland training and school programs
4. Attend meetings as required
5. Motivate, encourage and develop divers and poolside assistances at all levels
6. Be available, wherever possible, to assist other coaches in their training schedules.
Requirements:
1: Level 2 coaching accreditation (preferred)
2: Be able to work a minimum of 20 -25 hours including evenings and weekends
3: Current First Aid certificate
4: National Police Check (SAPOL NPC) clearance
The remuneration will reflect both the experience and qualifications of the individual concerned.
